What I miss about Pakistan - Part 2 - Delicious and Tasty Foods.

The Chapati, Biryani, Masala, Curry, Tikka, Korma,  Naam, Daal,
I miss chapati..

The Pakistan foods are mostly spicy, tasty and oily. But it tastes good. Only to be careful with the blood tension and cholesteril, hehe...

Starting with chapati. This is the daily meals for pakistani. There are some grades of chapati. brownish color as the most frequent served on the table.

They also served chapati with whiter color. It was bought outside They said that it was the by products, but I think it's more tastier than usual chapati..hehe..

The last chapati is cooked himself by Noshad. using white flour and add with egg. Trust me, this is the best Chapati I've ever had..

There also Naam.. similar with chapati, bit sweeter. we tasted in during in Barbeque tonight.
This is our regular daily meals in Karachi. The Rice, Chapati, Chicken/motton Masala, Tikka, Korma, etc.. Sometimes they served Biryani, Korma. and also some vegetables.

Vegetables are cucumber, Okra (Urdu : Windi), turey (not available in Indonesia), Eggplant (urdu : benken), carrot, mint leaves. potato is commonly used in meals, also in Biryani.
I haven't got a change to raise a question, why the vegetables always over cooked. So I prefer eat fresh vegetable like cucumber as usually served as salad

Salad are usually made of cucumber, tomatoes with small lime and garlic. The cucumber is good and fresh.. don't want to try the raw garlic...
The porridge is called Daal. made of beans/lentils.. not so bad...
Noshad sometimes bought outside the Biryani, Kebab.

One of my favorite thing to do during in Karachi is watching the chef cooks. Took pictures.
